Monthly plans require 30 days’ cancellation notice. Annual care is paid upfront for 12 months at a 20% discount and does not renew automatically. I invite you to renew before the term ends and do not charge for another year without your approval. You can cancel during the year; care continues through the current paid month, and I refund remaining full unused months at the discounted annual rate. Applicable legal rights are unaffected. On exit, I provide a handover summary and remove access after the agreed handover steps.

Are updates and security monitoring included in all plans?

Yes. Automated uptime and security monitoring runs 24/7. Routine WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates are reviewed and applied weekly, with a backup beforehand and key-page checks afterwards. Critical security updates are assessed as a priority. Human support is Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm GMT, including public holidays.

How do you ensure your site stays secure?

I monitor threats, maintain configured protections, and investigate alerts. Every plan includes regular security patching, malware scanning, firewall and brute-force protections, and recovery assistance where appropriate. No website can be promised complete protection from every incident.

Is SEO included in your WordPress care services?

While my maintenance plans focus on security, maintenance, and performance, I offer technical WordPress SEO as an add-on service. My SEO services include:

  • Technical site audits to uncover crawlability, indexing, and speed issues
  • Schema markup implementation to improve search engine visibility
  • On-page optimization and Core Web Vitals improvements
  • Local SEO and structured data enhancements

If your goal is better search rankings, I can optimize your site beyond basic maintenance, ensuring it’s built to perform in search engines.

What happens if I need additional development work beyond my plan?

How does the on-boarding process work for new plans?

Onboarding begins within one business day of receiving payment and all required access. It is completed after the initial assessment, backup, and monitoring setup. If I find existing malware or significant faults that prevent safe maintenance, I explain the issue and quote the necessary work before coverage begins.

Do you maintain and support WooCommerce websites?

Yes. Eligible WooCommerce assistance is available on Professional within its 1-hour monthly allowance and on Enterprise within its 3-hour total monthly allowance. Larger fixes, new functionality, and work beyond the allowance require approval at $50/hour.
