What’s Included and Why It Matters
WordPress Core, Plugin, and Theme Updates
Routine updates are reviewed and applied weekly, with a backup beforehand and key-page checks afterwards. Critical security updates are assessed as a priority.
Daily Website Backups
Daily off-site backups are retained for 30 days, with an additional backup before significant maintenance changes. Restoration depends on a suitable clean backup and available access.
Security Monitoring & Investigation
I monitor threats, maintain configured protections, and investigate alerts. No website can be promised complete protection from every security incident.
Uptime Monitoring
Automated uptime and security monitoring runs 24/7. I investigate alerts during human support hours, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm GMT, including public holidays, and explain the next step with progress updates while the issue remains open.
Additional Work by Approval
Content edits, development, and troubleshooting beyond routine maintenance are explained first and cost $50/hour after approval.
Smart Extras That Just Work
Configured spam and email-delivery protections are maintained and reviewed, without promising that every message will be delivered.
